Shishira Seetharama Bharadwaj, MBBS, is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine and fellowship trained in therapeutic endoscopy, gastroenterology and clinical nutrition/intestinal rehabilitation and transplant. He joins Mat-Su Medical Group with more than 17 years of experience in internal medicine and gastroenterology. He recently served as GI hospitalist at Yuma Regional Medical Center. His experience includes advanced GI procedures, including GI endoscopies like EGD, and has a special interest in biliary endoscopic procedures (ERCP).
Previously, Dr. Bharadwaj was an assistant professor of medicine and a member of faculty for therapeutic GI at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, CA, and medical director for the nutrition support team. Respected by his peers, Dr. Bharadwaj is an honorary reviewer of multiple papers, journals and publications. Over the years, he’s conducted research, presented and published several articles and chapters in peer reviewed journals and texts on gastroentestinal health and other clinical interests.
